Denver: A Guide

Sarah O. and I partnered together this month for a once in a lifetime trip where Dino and I were able to connect in a completely different way than we have in a long time...and we needed it. This was a trip to celebrate our marriage with both the successes and challenges. Sarah O. and I designed a ring that is just SO me now. My first ring is something I cherish so much, but I have shifted and changed and this is a start to the next chapter in our lives. From there we were able to hang around Denver, which we love, and then head out to Devil's Thumb Ranch which was so different from the city. It was an amazing trip and I am so grateful for Sarah O. in trusting me to do all of this and represent her amazing jewelry. Sharing my faves from the trip below!

We love to live like a local when we travel and walk everywhere, ducking in places as we feel, with no real plan. It's nice to have the structure, but also nice to just go with the flow, you know?

Here are our recs in no particular order:

- Pizza at Cart Driver - SO good, and a cool vibe.

- Linger restaurant...and don’t miss the ice cream shop below! 

- Fried chicken in the dairy block district - Crispy and life giving.

- Bakery Four for the best pastries. And by far the best bagel we’ve ever had in our lives!

- Coffee at Huckleberry on Tennyson - always looking for a good coffee spot, this one kinda competes with Foxi Coffee...kinda lol.

- Coffee at Simple coffee in Fraser - another cute and delish spot!

We stayed at Devil's Thumb which was so beautiful and so secluded. We really relaxed and just unwound. It was just what we needed during this busy season of life. They set us up with horse back riding, zip lining, massages…you really can do it all and you are out there. But like in a great way.

When we weren't in an activity, we were playing cards by the fire and sitting by the pool. And we took an incredible hike it was amazing.
