Favorite Fall Dinner

You know that feeling when the temp drops just a bit...

You know that feeling when the temp drops *just* a bit and you light your fave Fox M. candle and all seems just perfectly Fall-ish? Well this meal is just the icing on the cake to that perfect afternoon where the temps drop a bit and you're feelin' cozy! This is one of my favorite, easiest meals!

Baked Spaghetti Squash:

- Cut squash in half, scoop out and place on a foil lined baking sheet

- Sprinkle with olive oil and salt

- Roast in oven at 400 degrees for 45 min [depending on squash size, the squash will be done when a fork goes in easily]

- We love Rao's sauce: we use a jar for this but add in a few things to doctor it up!

- Sauté yellow onion in butter and add sauce to that

- Brown some medium sausage and add into the sauce

- Add minced garlic + some Italian herbs to sauce (You can just use a simple jar too with out adding in these things)

- Let simmer

- Scrape squash out + add to sauce and ENJOY!

Follow up your spaghetti squash 'pasta' with this SUPER simple Berry Crunch recipe and you have meal perfection! It smells amazing and your whole house will smell like Fall! Like brown sugar, cozy, cuddly love!

Berry Crunch:

- Melt 1/2 cup of butter in pan

- Mix in:

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup flour

1 cup quick oatmeal

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp baking soda

- Put 1/2 mixture into the bottom of an 8"x 8" pan

- Mix 1 tbsp of sugar with a 16 oz bag of frozen berries [ any frozen fruit works! Use your fave! ]

- Layer on top of the oat mixture
