Foxi's Flowers [ DIY Arrangement ]

I have had this vision for a horizontal flower arrangement above Foxi’s crib for a bit and I knew it was just the perfect DIY for Mama Lor and I to execute together. Crafting is so therapeutic, anyone else just feel so relaxed and zen? So nice.

Anyways! This is a super simple DIY, so I had to share!

You will need:
Dried Flowers - dry flowers yourself, flowers from Michaels, etsy etc. (see below for my tip on how to dry your own!)
Stick (optional)
Floral Wire
Wire Cutters
Hot glue gun
Glue stick

Get ready to get a little dirty, this is NOT a clean job but all so worth it!  You may be finding dried florals on your floors for quite some time!  Now, let’s make some pretty flower stuff!
We started by laying out all the floral arrangements on the floor and getting a feel for where everything was going to go - you can adjust as you go but having a visual really helps!

We started with a thick branch / stick (but this is optional since you can actually connect the flowers to each other as well) because my vision was a rather large arrangement so it will give great coverage but the stick can also peak through because it’s so pretty!

We made little flower groupings and attached and connected each grouping with the green floral wire - each was a little different but we grouped them so they are similar size and will flow into this great big beautiful floral piece.

So from here, you can start placing onto your stick, and connecting with the floral wire and your hot glue gun (these are always super handy to have around and can be found on Amazon, Michaels, Target etc).  Next...we add in some smaller flowers and moss to fill in the spaces and make it look finished!
Next hang your arrangement with nails and wire!

Pro floral drying tip: Tie the flowers you want to dry together and hang them upside down in a cool dark place for 2-3 weeks and voila, dried flowers!
