3 Days in Nashville: Our Fave Spots

Dino and I's first trip completely sans kids since before Foxi, and whew, it just what we needed! We had never been to Nashville and leading up to it, I was so very excited. But then it started to hit me, we were leaving the kids and I was feeling this overwhelming feeling of sadness and stress. But, I knew we needed it. For time together, uninterrupted and to connect and talk and share dreams and feelings. And we did and it was glorious. We listened to what our prayers were guiding us to do and I am so glad we did!

We ate, we boot - scoot - boogied and we dreamed of the next Petrone Projects. It was just what we needed after a busy year. And I love this town so much! The people were so friendly, the food was incredible and I got DOWN! Honkey Tonks may be my new thing...

Sharing all of our faves and recs if you're visiting soon! And if I missed anything, share below!

  • The hotel we stayed at was the Noelle - it is an amazing location and has the cutest decor. Bonus!

  • The Drug Store Coffee is in the lobby. I had an oat milk flat white there everyday paired with a fresh made chocolate croissant. So stinkin' good. There's also a speakeasy in the basement!

  • Coffee at Frothy Monkey - so cute and so yum.

  • 5 Daughters Donuts were good… not my fave but I think if they were hot hot It would have been better. I recommend going early!

  • The fried avocado taco at Mojo's Tacos . Can’t stop thinking about it.

  • The number 7 and number 10 taco at Ladybird Tacos and the watermelon Agua Fresca .

  • Pizza at Smith & Lentz Brewing and Pizza . The hot pepperoni was so good. It had drizzled hot honey all over it.

  • Butcher + Bee for dinner. However we never made it in cuz they were booked. So I’d suggest making a res or going early.

  • Dream Hotel looked like a cool vibe for dinner. Really fun decor inside.

Shopping at The Gulch

Shopping at 12 South . It's more of a little community of shops that's totally walkable and has some really good vintage pieces.

Stop by Yearly Company for shopping - my FAVE little bangle shop has a storefront and I was so excited to visit and hear more of their history! It's a good one!

The Factory at Franklin and Downtown Franklin for shopping and food

Whites Mercantile for the cutest shop with all sorts of unique finds

Biscuit Love in Franklin had probably the best flaky biscuit we’ve ever had!

Cork + Cow for a yummy steak in Franklin. Right in downtown.

Onyx + Alabaster in Franklin.

Southall was where we stayed. Not everything is open yet, so I’d suggest waiting until all the restaurants and amenities are available to get the best bang for your buck. But it was very peaceful. The food was delicious. We ate there for every meal + I was excited every time. A lot of attention to details, the quality of the ingredients were high + it was just an experience. We even loved the cocktails.

Until next time, Nashville - we will for sure see you again!
