Heading to the Dolomites

so much peace God has given us on this trip...

Amazing what a few days of quiet will do. And to discipline time to just be still with Him. He’s given us both such an amazing excitement and vision for the future. Like this new beginning and chapter in our lives. Before the trip we knew there was a new mission ahead of us with details we were unsure of. So many  things up in the air. But it’s amazing what God gifts us when we’re obedient. Stepping forward in faith and in His timing he reveals the details to us. Everyday we’ve been here He shows us a little more and a little more. Tiny pressings upon our hearts that inspire for what’s to come.

We’re wrapping up our time in Tuscany and heading to the Dolomite mountains in Italy tomorrow. A resort reached out to us shortly after we started the trip and offered for us to enjoy their hotel for free for three days. An unexpected plan for our trip, but who knows when we will be back, so we chose to seize the opportunity! It actually saved us a bit of money on our existing villa, it was a win win!

Can’t believe our time here is coming to an end. Feels like we’ve been gone for years. We all feel that way. But such a blessing this time has been. I’ll share next week how this trip has changed our family!

A verse that stuck out to me this week off of 2 Samuel 22:20 “He delights in me.” Remember that. Dwell in His presence knowing how much He loves you and delights in you.
