Back to reality. And just like that...

And just like that, an entire month of travels are locked and loaded in the memory bank. Thankful doesn’t scratch the surface on how my family is feeling. We’re humbled and grateful at the unexpected gifts this last month brought us. This trip set us up for the next season of life.

Our flight home was L O N G and then to top it all off we had to sit on the plane an extra hour after we landed because a plane was in our spot at the airport. 😵‍💫 I’ve never used that emoji so much then I have these past few days since we’ve been home. It’s just represents my brain so well! I also got a cough on the plane; so recovering from that. Even with all the chaos though, it feels so good to be home in our beds, all unpacked and settling into what’s to come!

Thought it would be fun to do a ranking of my favorite spots on the trip (just mine, not the families… as they all kind of differed for different reasons).

London: everyone fave for walking around + we loved the food!

Paris: food was amazing, parts of Paris were dirty though.

Aix en provenance: charming + so fun to walk around + shop. Amazing food.

Antibes: amazing food, so cute to walk around, loved the beaches.

Montorosso Al mare: the boat ride made the whole trip. Beautiful sights, but we didn’t love the food.

Lucca: so cute! Loved walking around, the food + shopping were some of our faves.

Volterra Tuscany: peaceful + relaxing.

Asciano Tuscany: peaceful + relaxing, but we didn’t love Tuscany food.

Dolomites: incredible views, loved our time there. So thankful we were able to go!

Florence: food was good, but was very crowded + not that nice to walk around.

We’re in Florida for a month, preparing to move to Tennessee the beginning of July. We’ll be packing up the house, I’ll be gathering things to sell and then we’ll have to order a few things for the Florida home for it to be a rental house. At least that was the plan before we came back, now who knows… maybe we’ll keep this house! We’re just praying for God to keep showing us clarity on the path He has us on.

And the next few months I’ll be sharing some exciting things the Lord has been laying before me for the future. Lots to pray about!
