#sponsored Creating + using our imagination.❤️ This is the first time our kiddos have had their own rooms. My main goal with this new house has been to really find the kids individual personalities. From letting them pick out their own sheets to setting up creative exercises that grow who they are! We have always been a huge fan of LEGO bricks, they’ve been the best tool to keep everyone busy! When we lived in our trailer a few years ago, it was the one “toy” that the kids had in each of their bunks. They could get creative and use their imagination for hours building with them. LEGO partnered with JOANN Stores to bring us LEGO DOTS for kids!

Quinn and I decided to have a little at home date night this week with DOTS!

I love getting inspired when I’m designing a space, so we decided to put on our thinking caps and find something that inspired our creativity! Q wanted to do bracelets because she loves how I always wear mine and they have such a special meaning to me. So bracelets it is! We both picked colors and themes that we thought the other one would like. Q loves rainbows and suns and kitties… (ya she’s just a magical unicorn), so we did two bracelets with those.

We also got a little crafty with the jewelry holder, I mean we need something to hold our new bracelets! It was so fun to build and easy enough for Q to follow the instructions herself.

During this renovation time at the house, I’ve been really trying to focus on activities that the kids enjoy and that they can use their imagination. It's always fun to see the kids personalities come out when you give them free reign to create!

One thing I’ve really found to be such a gift with being at home right now, is the gift of time. Time to get on the floor and play, to get creative with my littles and to not have to “carve out” time to do a date night with one of my kids.
