LET IT SNOW

It’s amazing how you grow to appreciate even the littlest things in life, when your normal day to day is… well not that normal. Living in the RV these last 9 months have been a crazy awesome journey for our family, but one thing we’ve grown to love and appreciate are nights away. That’s why our night away at The Four Seasons was so special. First off, Four Seasons Westlake Village holds an annual event at the hotel every December called “Let It Snow”. We were apart of the VIP package which was beyond spectacular. We were first greeted by the lovely staff downstairs with champagne and chocolates… delicious chocolates might I add! And of course the entire hotel was decked out with lights, Christmas trees and even a gingerbread train! The kids would have been happy just staying right there in the lobby!

But it got even better! Inside our beautlful almost 700 sqft room, there were robes, slippers and stuffed animals for all the kids.

About 15 min after being in the room, a plate of cookies and chocolates was delivered for each of the kids. They were in heaven!

We spent the evening at the “Let It Snow event, where we had photos with Santa, went on train rides, sipped on hot cocoa and roasted marshmallows, decorated cookies with Mrs. Claus, bounced on bounce houses, and the best part… every 15 minutes, it snowed!! It was like seeing magic through my kids eyes! They had never been to the snow, so this was a first experience for us. One for the books and photo album!

We woke up for a yummy breakfast the next morning, which Dino and I both agreed was the best buffet we had ever had! The kids even had their own buffet serving stations. Characters came and greeted the kids at the tables and they were able to take pictures with them. It honestly felt like a Disneyland trip! The kids had a giant smile on their faces the whole time.

We finished off the trip with a fun swim in the indoor pool, the kids had definitely eaten enough sugar, so this was a great way to get some energy out! This trip, although only one night, was the best trip Dino and I have ever taken with the kids. The VIP experience was exactly what it promised to be and more!
